this blog…as everything else i do on the interwebnetmatrix…is about chasing…powerful words…pretty pictures…good music…and most important…connecting with other human beings…that said…here are…three things of which you can be sure…
1. you will not find…trucker caps…coffee mugs…t-shirts…mouse pads…or other ephemera…for sale…on this on any other electronic venue that i am associated with…when you do see a sales pitch…it will be for…my words…or the words of others…
2. speaking of words…this is a blog…it’s pretty much disposible…this is where i get to cut loose…throw poop and bananna peels…as it were…have fun…make fun…and vent…hopefully in a creative and interesting fashion…most of the time i dont take it too seriously…you shouldn’t either…
3. this thing is a network…that means i will make efforts to reach out and touch some of you from time to time…i expect you to do the same…

it's been years…
since i paid attention to…or cared about…tennis…especially wimbledon…the last time i bothered, bjorn borg was lacing em up…but when i read what this guy at the daily news had to say about it…I figured i tune in and see for myself…I watched williams beat an overmatched sharapova…and when venus won…her joy…was nearly overwhelming…and so when she battled lindsey davenport in the finals today…i didn’t see…or witness…black vs white…i saw two strong and powerful women…gutting it out…despite pain…despite being told their best games were behind them…i got to witness one of the best tennis games…ever…
