till and grade…add 10 cubic feet of topsoil and clay buster…build fence…done, done, and done…nothing left to do but dream of peppers, tomatoes, cilantro, basil, lettuce, snap peas, squash…
this is how we turn a 3×5 patch of dirt into 5×10 of arable soil around here…
unemployment is killing me…
the garden looks great. Can I tell you an unemployment secret? When I first moved to Denver I didn’t have a job for 6 months. I spent everyday applying for jobs when nothing materialized I took one month off from job hunting and wrote as if it was a full time job (this is when we sort of met) after that month I went back to trying and found a job within a week of deciding that I would have a job. Of course the market is different and I’m not sure what sort of job you are looking for, but I thought I’d share.
Thanks…to tell the truth, I feel good about my chances of finding work…I was making fun of how being out of work means there’s lots of stuff to do around the house…
